Netweb Technologies India Limited (Netweb) has unveiled a strategic collaboration with NVIDIA, marking a significant milestone in advancing India’s artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. The announcement reveals that Netweb is now a manufacturing partner for the NVIDIA Grace CPU Superchip and GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip MGX server designs.

Under its Tyrone range of AI systems, Netweb is set to build and produce over ten server variations tailored for a diverse range of AI and high-performance computing/supercomputing applications. The NVIDIA MGX, serving as a modular reference design, will empower Netweb’s AI systems to address complex workloads in areas such as high-performance computing, data science, large language models, edge computing, enterprise AI, and design and simulation.

The product lineup promises support for handling simultaneous workloads, including AI training, inference, and 5G, all within a single system. Importantly, the designs ensure seamless upgrades for future hardware generations, providing enterprises with the flexibility to adapt to evolving technological landscapes.

Sanjay Lodha, Chairman and Managing Director of Netweb, emphasized the company’s commitment to driving high-end technology products for the Make-in-India initiative. Lodha highlighted the significance of NVIDIA’s leadership in AI products and solutions, recognizing India’s potential to capitalize on AI growth. The collaboration aligns with the Make-in-India initiative, bringing locally manufactured cutting-edge technologies to global standards.

Vishal Dhupar, Managing Director for South Asia at NVIDIA, acknowledged the challenges faced by enterprises in building cost-effective AI infrastructure and sees Netweb’s Tyrone AI systems, based on NVIDIA MGX, as a solution. He noted the flexibility these systems offer for a variety of applications, including generative AI, speech analytics, text analytics, and automation.

The partnership with NVIDIA positions Netweb as a key player in India’s AI landscape, contributing to the ‘Make in India’ mission. The collaboration not only bolsters the country’s AI capabilities but also establishes a local ecosystem to cater to the demands of both government and private enterprises in AI and accelerated computing applications.
